Gulf State Park Beach Pavilion: Gulf Shores, AL
Gulf State Park has over 3.5 miles of beaches available in both Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, Alabama. The beach area in Gulf Shores (main park area) can be accessed from our Beach Pavilion area. Gulf State Park has a beautiful new Beach Pavilion that has a large concession stand open on a seasonal basis. Air conditioned bathrooms with showers are open throughout the year for beach goers and picnic tables are also available for use under the pavilion. The pavilion is perfect for family and group outings, photography sessions, reunions, beach parties and sunset weddings. The main deck is 48′ long x 87′ wide and the lower deck is 67′ x 60′x 60′.[divider style=”hr-solid”]
Romar Beach: Orange Beach, AL
Romar Beach public beach in Orange Beach, Alabama is best for small weddings hosting a small wedding party or for wedding groups staying in one of the nearby hotels or condominiums. No restrooms are available, porta potties only.
This public beach has one of the smallest public parking lots available of all the public beach locations. One boardwalk is available that is about 105 feet long. Parking is free.[divider style=”hr-solid”]
Cotton Bayou: Orange Beach, AL
This public beach area is located 5.1 miles east of Alabama Highway 59 and .2 mile west of Ala Highway 161. The Cotton Bayou beach access area has well-maintained restrooms, outdoor showers and a free paved parking lot. The beach is a short walk from the parking lot with two short boardwalks.
This location is great for small weddings. Cotton Bayou public beach features public restrooms and an adequate parking lot which provides free parking.[divider style=”hr-solid”]
Alabama/Florida Point: Orange Beach, AL
Alabama Point is on the west side with a bulkhead and jetty that run the length of the Pass. Florida Point is on the east side. Featuring lots of parking and a bathhouse, this beach is the perfect location for any size beach wedding.
The beach runs around to the Gulf. There are four boardwalks over the dunes and sea oats if you want to go directly to the Gulf.[divider style=”hr-solid”]
Across from Caribe Resort: Orange Beach, AL
Directly across the highway from from Caribe, a popular luxury resort featuring spacious designer condos, beach activities and boating, on-site recreation and other exclusive resort amenities is a large open beach. Perfect for a small, intimate wedding, a small parking area is available. There is a short single boardwalk providing direct beach access.
